Rachael Mrocka is graduating The New School University in December 2020, majoring at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor’s in ‘Journalism and Design’, with a minor at Parson’s School of Fashion for ‘Fashion Communications’.

Rachael currently lives, grows, creates, and loves out of her sun-filled apartment in Brooklyn, NY, with her two affectionate four legged daughters.

From creating fashion apparel for herself and her American Girl dolls in sewing classes at age four, to writing fiction stories throughout her childhood… Rachael’s gears have been turning non-stop both creatively and intellectually.

Ever since she was younger, Rachael knew she was destined to do something hands-on, stimulating, and creative. This desire came with the intention to serve everyone around her and the planet.

Starting to get a taste for the life she always thought she wanted, Rachael took pre-college courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she only confirmed what made her heart beat : fashion.

After her junior year of college, Rachael decided to become part of the fashion communications major where she’s been exposed to communications, photography, illustration, marketing, merchandising, branding, web making and design, lessons on major adobe programs, as well as public relations.

Rachael began to feel a burning desire to examine fashion in a different way- noticing its undeniable connection to and impact on the planet and climate change after exposure to a realm of different worlds and topics between her ‘Journalism and Design’ major, and ‘Fashion Communications’ minor.

With a persistent willingness to learn, Rachael has been  on a mission since infancy to learn and create – except now, she’s found her message.

She aims to use her soul with a mission to give back, whether that’s through her art, words, or her knowledge.

Rachael aims to, with anything and everything she creates, to not only share all of her knowledge, but to constantly and consistently expand it.

She is here to create, help, inspire, learn, and love. She believes in being a human first, before she believes in being anything else.

She believes we are all here to grow and learn on our own individual journeys, so that we can contribute to the bigger framework of life, and for most importantly, our planet.

She believes we are all here, just to walk each other home.
